It's not easy to know where to turn for help. Though it is a devastating disease, mesothelioma is still relatively rare and not all cancer support groups will have members who are able to relate to what you are going through, especially if you have the disease as a result of corporate misconduct in exposing you to asbestos.
Asbestos cancer support group
There are many cancer support groups available. But for help directed specifically to mesothelioma patients, you'll want an asbestos cancer support group. Many cancer centers have support groups—some live and some via the web. Check with your doctor and/or hospital for information on those that have knowledge about mesothelioma.
